One of the things I love about Edinburgh is its colourful past. The streets of the Old Town are just teeming with fascinating stories, some a little *ahem*grisly at times, but these tales are definitely worth seeking out while you are in Edinburgh. One of the best places to see these stories come to life is at the Edinburgh Dungeon, just behind Waverley Station on Market Street.
Hurrah! The warmer weather is finally here. There’s nothing I love more when the temperatures rise to sup a refreshing g&t, so when I was asked a couple of weeks to go on Gin Journey, a brand new gin tour of Edinburgh… well, let’s say I didn’t have to be asked twice!
Tuk Tuk has a pretty awesome reputation in Edinburgh, and for good reason. Its Indian tapas style dining experience is one of the most notable in the city, and it prides itself in serving up authentic Indian food.
When it’s the weekend and it’s sunny and you’re feeling the lazy Sunday vibes, a visit to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is a must. Unlike its sisters the National Portrait Gallery and the The Scottish National Gallery, it is a little further out of town, but it’s definitely worth the trip.
